Black Chokeberry

Chokeberry is a small shrub that grows only to about 2 m in height and width. Beautiful white flowers bloom in spring and produce black tasty berries that are very high in vitamin C.

Ecology:

Relatively early blooming, chokeberry provides nectar and pollen to bees when little else is blooming. Birds love the berries.

Growing conditions:

Full sun to part sun, any type of soil type, and moisture.
