Steeplebush, Spiraea tomentosa

Bright pink flower panicles bloom from July to September, blooming from top to bottom. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and beetles for nectar. Steeplebush is a native shrub that grows 2-4 feet tall with woolly stems.

A long-lasting pink bloomer:
Steeplebush is a native deciduous shrub; its bright pink blooms provide nectar for pollinators mid-summer through fall. The dried capsule fruits ripen from tan to dark brown. Prefers wet meadows, bogs, and moist sites in full sun.
