Groundnut

Groundnut is a vine with a twining stem. Produces fragrant clusters of purplish flowers that bloom from July to September. Fixes nitrogen into the soil like all legumes.

Ecology:
Attract butterflies with nectar.
Host plant for Silver-spotted Skipper.

Growing conditions:

Often found in savannas and moist rich forests. Grows in part sun, moist rich soil.
